As Location Manager, you are a real people manager with organisational and communication skills.
Responsible for the plans and results regarding cultivation, labor, energy, and technology at the cultivation sites Den Horst and Truyenberg in Merksplas.
Developing an annual plan and objectives in line with the strategic choices and growth ambitions of Den Berk Délice, and in coordination with other Location Managers and cultivation sites.
Leading the local teams of Den Horst and Truyenberg, totaling approximately 30 permanent employees and up to 700 seasonal workers.
Achieve financial targets, KPIs and projects in accordance with annual plan and objectives; monitor developments and make adjustments where necessary.
Stimulating a culture of open communication, cooperation and continuous improvement.
Organizing and participating in regular meetings with the own teams, other Location Managers, other functional disciplines, and external stakeholders.
Participating in the Management Team, which includes not only Location Managers but also functional areas such as Sales & Marketing, HR, Finance & IT, SHEQ, Cultivation & Biology, and Energy Management.
Reporting to the Managing Director.

PROFILE
Hbo/wo education, for example, in an agricultural, technical, or business-related field.
Relevant operations and/or site management experience, preferably in the agrifood industry and if possible in the AGF sector.
Has an affinity with the total business chain from grower to retailer and is familiar with relevant issues at growing locations or can quickly master them.
Excellent people manager with organisational and communication skills in leading, inspiring and connecting people and teams.
Up-to-date knowledge of relevant systems and processes; also interested in all kinds of new professional developments, e.g. in the field of sustainability and energy management.
Accessible and pragmatic attitude in organising and solving daily dynamics and also able to properly monitor the structure and long-term goals.
